BASIC FUNCTION:
The major role of the Product Support Manager is to improve company profitability while focusing on supporting our end user customers.

Responsibilities include ensuring that acceptable plans are created and implemented to achieve company objectives that relate to Parts, Sales, Product Support, Technical and service problem resolution, growth of dealer support business, training on parts and service and end user customer issues, Customer Satisfaction &Loyalty program, and warranty follow up.

SPECIFIC/ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
To develop service, parts and technical support plan for the dealers based on company strategy and Customer Satisfaction & Loyalty results.

Assist in implementation of Profit Center Management Process.

Monitors, evaluates and reports competitive market information and activities.

·

Assists managers with developing and implementing service and parts aftermarket promotions representing dealers’ and end users interests.

·

Educate dealers and their personnel on Jacobsen policies, procedures, methods and programs.

·

Analyze dealer service and parts department performance and promotional activity.

·

Provide assistance and follow-up with new product launches.

·

Conduct clinics for customers, national accounts, dealer sales staff, and technical staff.

·

Hold regional seminars for colleges, universities and organizations as needed.

·

Travel with dealers to customer to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

·

Assist in diagnostic resolutions for product performance.

·

Validate service parts and specialty tool inventory.

·

Identify, troubleshoot and provide immediate feedback to Jacobsen teams.

·

Audit dealer facilities to ensure they are compliant with Jacobsen standards.

·

Evaluate warranty issues

·

Development of information for CQT process.

·

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor Science Degree from a four-year college or equivalent combination of education and experience

Valid driver’s license for the past 3 years required

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of five years’ experience in a responsible business function, including sales, marketing, Parts, Technical experience in an OEM or aftermarket business.

Must have the following levels of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite this includes; PowerPoint – basic; Excel – intermediate; Word - intermediate.
