Seterus, Inc. is seeking a Supplemental employee to provide analytical support for the Procurement Oversight department. Position will review contracts and build a management system to track key dates, KPI’s and monitor the procurement pipeline to assure that Seterus is compliant with IBM global procurement practices. Responsible for supporting procurement activities within the organization including commodities, critical technology and production. Responsible for establishing, executing and tracking project plans, utilizing fundamental project management techniques. Tracks short range unit plans to accomplish business unit objectives. Accountable to insure that IBM business conduct guidelines and procurement practices are understood and followed, both as an individual and for any teams that the individual may support. Work with IBM suppliers, business partners and customer relationships. Prepare presentations and technical reports for project documentation, management reports and companywide distribution. Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Research existing contracts and document critical dates and deliverables
• Build a system to centralize contracts, scorecards and vendor contracts
• Train personnel on the use of procurement tools
• Track and report procurement activities in the short / medium and long term
• Escalate critical issues to senior management as required.
Proven Analytical ability in a professional environment
Knowledge of SharePoint, Excel, Access
Focus on details that delivers accuracy
Utilizes strong interpersonal, oral and written skills to conduct daily activities, demonstrating an applied knowledge of the English language. Frequent contact with internal and external representatives at all levels. Regularly negotiates moderately complex issues, such as supplier relationship management, contract performance, etc. requiring tact and sensitivity.
- Associate's Degree/College Diploma
- At least 6 months experience in Analytics
- At least 1 year experience in Excel
- At least 1 year experience in a training function
- English: Fluent
