Sr. Director, Central Scheduling - 13010IP
Implementing and supporting a strategic vision for Centralized Scheduling, which supports scheduling of both hospital and physician services for the Piedmont Healthcare system. Providing leadership and oversight of key operational and financial decisions pertaining toall underlying functions. Challenging assumptions and standards of business in an effort to improve overall operational effectiveness and service to Piedmont’s patients and providers. Functions that report to this position include Centralized Scheduling for both hospital and physician services, plus other tangential functions as assigned.
The incumbent serves as the leader of Centralized Scheduling for all hospitals within the Piedmont health system to internal and external organizations, including government agencies, payer organizations, external auditors, and business partners.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least five (5) years of management experience in Patient Access-related functions within a progressive healthcare environment. Call center experience requiring high volume inventory management.
