The TPM is responsible for helping the Analytics Team build the next version of Medioâs predictive analytics platform and design algorithms and models that can operate over very large data sets to provide real-time predictions. Candidates for this role must have professional experience in writing technical specifications for a machine learning system and how to apply analytics to optimize monetization from targeted offers or ads. Candidates need to have the ability to drive end-to-end user experience for offer targeting as well as design and analysis of A|B experiments to optimize the experience.
Help the Analytics Team develop and improve Medioâs real-time analytics platform.
Help create roadmap for Analytics to optimize monetization via serving offers and ads.
Help drive end-to-end user experience for creation and targeting of offers.
Gather and manage Analytics requirements from internal sources (Product Managers, TPMs, Customer Solutions PMs, TAMs, Sales Mangers and others.)
Own, develop, maintain and communicate an overall roadmap for the initiatives, features and deliverables of the team.
Also own and manage the backlog of tasks and features.
Create detailed technical specification documentation, as needed.
Design and analyze results from A|B experiments designed to optimize user targeting and monetization.
Work with Dev and QA engineers to assemble Levels of Effort estimates. Build and plan out high-level schedules for the team deliverables. Prioritize features and tasks, strike a balance of trade-offs.
Manage the team efforts within the Agile methodology, to execute on plans and meet schedule commitments.
Own and manage all deployments to production. Address production issues quickly, as needed.
Work closely with Solutions PMs to help keep the customer expectations aligned with the external roadmap and schedules.
Participate in retrospective meetings, demos, brown bags, and similar events. Run and present in weekly Roadmap Review meetings, attended by Medio executives.
Experience with at least some of the following
Machine learning systems and models.
Relevance, Recommendations, ad optimization, search, offer targeting.
Analytics, data, statistics, segmentation, clustering, PCA, A|B experimentation.
Modeling packages (for example: Weka, R, Mahout.)
4+ years Technical Program Management experience.
Bachelorâs degree or equivalent experience. Strong preference for in Computer Science or related.
Understanding of operational considerations for large scale distributed processing and data storage.
Understanding of ads or offers serving systems and monetization metrics and optimization.
