Job Description
Assist the supervisor in the development, design, implementation and communication of employee benefit and compensation programs. the specialist will be responsible for benefit plan administration including vendor relations, liaison to the Mayo Clinic Health System Regional Benefits Integration Team, legislative and regulatory compliance including billing and plan audits. The specialist will also be responsible for review and audit of benefit and compensation processes and policies that impact the payroll system with assistance from the HRIS Specialist. In addition, the position will assist the applicable Human Resource policy design and updates. Establishes and maintains strong, proactive working relationships with business associates and internal managers balancing organization and business needs.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of five years of benefits administration including experience with retirement plans and payroll systems. Experience in compensation and benefits communications/presentations to individuals and groups required. Benefit or Compensation Professional Certification preferred.

License or Certification:
