Our U.S. Group Insurance business unit is a Top 10 leader in the group benefits marketplace. We serve large, medium and small employers who want to provide their employees with group benefits. We develop and distribute a full range of insurance products, including life, disability and dental insurance. Currently, our U.S. group benefits business serves more than 10 million plan members in over 40,000 group benefit plans and has annual premium of more than $1 billion.
Market group insurance products through a network of insurance brokers, third party administrators and consultants in the assigned territory.
Sells group insurance products and services by interacting with established relationships with insurance brokers, third party administrators and consultants and developing new prospects.
Build and establish relationships with these key sources that will market our portfolio of products (Group Life, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability) to some of the nation's leading employers.
Creates and maintains a business plan within the territory based on customers' estimated requirements.
Calls on existing and potential customers.
Commitment to attaining state required Life and Health agent license.
Consistently meets seasonal targets and sales goals.
Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
Groups Sales Industry Experience Required.
Must have a drive to succeed, a winning attitude and be interested in a career that offers independence, professional growth, and high income potential.
Required skills: interpersonal, decision making, presentation, negotiation skills and verbal and written communication skills.
