Responsible for business analysis, functional and technical support for the PeopleSoft financial environment that includes interfaces with other applications utilized within the organization. The senior analyst will play a key role in bridging the needs of the functional users with the technical capabilities of the system(s).
Perform business analysis tasks for ERP system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements working in partnership with Information Technology Division and Operational Teams. Provides analysis of new functionality, including, total effort, upstream and downstream impacts, integrations, etc. Responsible for design integrity of both system and business processes. Leads the user acceptance testing by developing test scripts, resolving issues and associated documentation.
Responsible for the development and maintenance of system reports using the most appropriate tool (Nvision, Crystal, XML, query). Ensures integrity of and maintenance of reporting structure/framework,
Responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting interfaces, software bugs, reports and software customizations utilizing delivered application tools or other tools as determined.
Work as a partner with the Operational Managers to identify, design and implement efficient and effective solutions to business problems, including system integration issues.
Responsible for understanding and developing system documentation covering such items as customizations, interfaces, reports, business processes, and end user training materials. Provide communication and training to end users.
Performs other duties as assigned.
More than 5 years related work experience.
Extensive hands-on configuration experience in ERP
Financial modules and/or Campus Solutions applications.
Ability to design, build and maintain reports.
Strong analytical skills; ability to assess development requirements, business process requirements, cross application impact, and integration requirements.
Good communication skills (written and verbal); ability to communicate with Operational Teams to identify and articulate business issues and their respective complexity and priority. Ability to develop quality documentation.
Ability to design and deliver end user training.
Ability to explain system configuration to Operational Managers so they can understand the implication of different design solutions.
Deep configuration experience (five years or more) with an ERP System
Working knowledge of ERP modules including, GL, AR, AP, Budget, Projects, Asset Management Purchasing, Procurement, and/or Student Financials
Ability to recommend and implement a sustainable system solution that balances between meeting business requirements and minimizes system complexity.
Experience in the full life cycle of ERP, including implementation, maintenance and upgrades
Ability to develop work plans, i.e. testing, realization, cutover, to meet project deadlines.
Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft FSCM and/or Campus Solutions applications.
