As a temporary position running from March 11 –March 29, 2013; the Alumni Weekend Student Assistants will help the Office of Alumni Relations in the planning, execution, and wrap up of Alumni Weekend 2013. Prior to Alumni Weekend,student assistants will help with the preparation of guest packets and gifts, as well as other event preparation needs.

During Alumni Weekend, student assistants will help with greeting guests, check-in process of guests, walk-in registration, providing directions and Alumni Relations Office information, and act as assistant event managers.

Following Alumni Weekend, student assistants may help with general office needs (copying, mailing, filing, etc.) to close out Alumni Weekend
2013.

Please note: This position is temporary and will only run from March 11th – March 29th, depending on assignment.

Minimum Qualifications/Special Skills
Students applying for this position must have at least 8 hours of availability during Alumni Weekend on Friday, March 22 through Sunday, March 24.

Preferred Qualifications/Special Skills
There are 25 positions available, but we are interested in hiring at least one student with skills using the Adobe Design suite of software.

Physical Requirements
Depending on assignment, this position may be working outdoors, lifting boxes (no more than 50lbs), and/or walking across campus.
