RN- Clinical Nurse Manager, Maternal Child Health
80 hours per pay period, Varied
RN, BSN required, Masters preferred; Speciality Certification and Labor and Delivery experience preferred

Summary The Clinical Nurse Manager assumes full accountability for the overall planning, organization, direction. coordination and evaluation of his/her assigned area(s). Responsibilities include but not limited to: financial management, human resource management, quality improvement, staff development and communication. The Nurse Manager role is crucial to the delivery of quality, cost-effective patient care and, therefore, the success of the hospital organization.

EDUCATION

  • Baccalaureate degree required; Master preferred
  • EXPER I ENCE

    2-4 years of clinical experience in appropriate clinical area with demonstrated ability in clinical and administrative management.

    PROFESS I ONAL ACT I V I T I ES:

  • Membership in professional nursing organization required.

  • Certification in specialty area or administration preferred
