The Customer Services Manager will be an internal business partner responsible for administrative, pricing, customer service and internal sales functions. This individual will provide support for the quote and proposal process, order processing with multiple treating plants, inventory management, coordination of customer communication, resolution of customer issues and administrative responsibility for contracts and alliances.
Manages all aspects of customer service team duties.
Responsible for converting customer demand into successful customer order fulfillment. This includes managing order entry, working with internal departments to determine targeted inventory levels, and assisting in determining the level and priority of inventory replenishment orders.
Active member of the team that leads to the achievement of planned sales and profit objectives via the acquisition and retention of new and existing business.
Ensures that the departments’ computer systems are developed and utilized in a manner that maximizes the effectiveness of the organization.
Assists Finance with collection issues by determining and resolving any product or customer service issues.
Ensures team members are working with customers on any quality issues and determining proper solutions.
Ensures all necessary customer information is properly documented and maintained.
Facilitate required customer storm response between Sales, Supply Chain and Operations, as appropriate.
6 years of progressive experience in a management position
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Successful experience with customer service and sales administration
Strong project management skills and leadership ability
Demonstrated ability to lead a staff of 10 – 20; experience leading remote groups at multiple
Locations a plus
Excellent communication, leadership and collaboration skills
Proven financial knowledge, including financial concepts, analysis methods and terms Customer driven business ethic
Ability to travel is necessary
Basic inventory management and industry experience a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
