      Reliability Engineer to provide Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) support of Flight Operation activities for F-35 aircraft assigned to Eglin AFB, Florida. Candidate will be required to identify and document deficiencies that impact R&M performance of the aircraft, review maintenance data information collected, evaluate corrective actions implemented during flight operations for effectiveness, provide R&M and Prognostics & Health Management (PHM) data analysis support to Engineering, provide support to the JSF R&M Evaluation Team (JRMET), respond to Action Reports related to maintenance and JRMET activities, and ensure the integrity of, and implement and maintain data within the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) database. Additional activities will include ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and perform tasks required for the accomplishment of R&M demonstrations, review and provide formal documentation of the verification assessment activities to the appropriate IPTs, and assist with demonstration of other verification assessments (Low Observable materials, Support Equipment, Technical Data). Must have good interpersonal and communications skills; good skills with MS products and experience with database entry and management tools; familiarity with multiple aspects of military aircraft (vehicle systems, mission systems, airframe, weapon integration). Candidate must have extensive background in flight operations with hands-on experience in all aspects of R&M activities within a high-tempo flight operations environment.

      Basic Qualifications:

      A BS degree in engineering or a technical field and minimum 9 years experience in Flight Test or Flight Operations. Active and current Secret clearance required with ability to obtain SAP/SAR clearances. Preferred Qualifications: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree, strong Avionics and Reliability background, 10+ years of experience in military aircraft flight test operations.
