Basic Function:
The basic function of this position is to secure external eCommerce, TMC, Credit and Debit Card processing business for PSCU Financial Services. Incumbent will target new opportunities utilizing industry knowledge and understanding the competitive landscape. Assist the VPof Credit Union Sales with forecasting revenue from all new business sales. To maintain a high level of quality sales process and positive corporate image with the prospective member credit unions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats with individuals or groups and give presentations utilizing various audio/visual support aids. Ability to manage multiple projects, work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Must possess strong cold calling skills and have the ability to negotiate with and influence others. Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions and interact effectively and positively with all levels of company and credit union personnel. Ability to consistently demonstrate strong reasoning and analytical skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES Develop external business nationally in promoting our eCommerce, TMC, Credit, Debit & ATM product lines within an assigned territory. Create and manage a sales pipeline by exercising a weekly structured calling campaign and timely following up on all lead referrals and RFP's. Participate in regional sales activities to include nationally coordinated sales campaigns. Create and present formal proposals that include a detailed pricing analysis and incentive package. Present on-site at the prospective Credit Union our value proposition. Establish and maintain effective communication with the prospective credit unions through the appropriate contact channels. Identify any challenges throughout the sales process that need to be overcome in order to successfully execute a commitment. Maintain an effective working relationship within the credit union industry through initiating or responding to invitations to serve as guest speaker, participate in educational projects, and attend state league meetings. Stay informed on industry trends, changes in industry regulations and the competitive landscape. Engage subject matter experts when necessary to assist in the sales process. Ensure a smooth and efficient hand-off process of a committed credit union to the respective Account Executive assuming the new relationship. Achieve the year-end Total Contract Value target established at the beginning of each calendar year. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum five (5) years sales/marketing experience in the financial services industry required with a focus on external sales. PC/Windows-based software experience required with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. External business development experience inclusive of cold calling, and CRM software. Product training and product demonstration experience required.
