Essential Job Skills needed to be a HUB Delivery Driver:
Competent at oral and written communications and handle basic math computations.
Previous work record should show stability and performance results.
Provide a copy of their driving record for pre-employment and employment purposes (See Fleet Policy Criteria).

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Drives delivery truck or automobile to deliver parts, including the loading and unloading parts
Comply with all federal, state and local laws as well as all company policies and procedures.
Complete all required training manuals/material, etc.
Completes vehicle safety checks per Company policy and constantly operates the vehicle within safety guidelines; immediately reports any safety concerns or Company Policy violations to company management
Consistently assist customers in a professional, courteous and prompt manner.
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safe operation of all HUB Delivery vehicles; this person must maintain on a daily and weekly basis the appearance, the maintenance and the safe operation of each vehicle. It is also this person's responsibility to insure that the HUB Delivery vehicle is used only for company business.
Help maintain appearance of HUB Delivery vehicle (washing and cleaning vehicle).
Set a professional example in the operation and insist on good service, good business practices, the safe handling of equipment and quick delivery.
Perform assigned store duties that include, but are not limited to, stocking, cleaning, and truck loading/unloading.

Job Requirements

HUB Delivery Driver Education/License Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Must have a valid driver’s license, 21 years of age and be fleet safety certified

Physical Demands:
Almost constant standing/walking.
Lifting/carrying - 100 pounds occasionally when unloading/loading merchandise from truck; 35-40 pounds frequently.
Good manual skills (gross and fine finger dexterity).
Able to reach above shoulder level.
Capable of frequently squatting, bending and reaching.
Capable of climbing, stooping, kneeling and crouching on an occasional basis.

Work Environment:
Work is predominately performed inside. Some activities are performed outside when helping with customer assistance.
Majority of work will be performed in a delivery vehicle during various other conditions; some work will be performed in other business locations during delivery visits.
There are no particular hazards involved with the exception of possible exposure to battery acid and gloves are provided for handling batteries.
Caution should be taken when working with pallet jack and heavy equipment.
Normal caution associated with safe driving practices should be taken while operating a delivery vehicle. Normal caution should be taken while visiting commercial accounts that have machinery and other potential hazards.
