Position Summary: Coordinate and sell floor coverings: carpet, area rugs, hardwood, vinyl, laminate, ceramic and marble tile, window treatments and bathroom vanities. The overall goal is to drive sales through field, in-store, and new business development sales activities. Our associates provide excellent customer service and work with retail customers, builders, contractors and designers.
General Responsibilities:
Greets customer on sales floor and determines type and quality of merchandise desired.
Qualifies customers then shows merchandise or samples of merchandise to customer
Estimates cost and amount of material required, referring to customer's floor plans or descriptions.
Receives payment or obtains credit authorization.
Uses computer database to research availability of merchandise. Processes orders.
Follows-up timely and professionally with customers on all requests or problems.
Requirements:
Motivation with a strong drive and desire to succeed
Previous commission sales experience
Color Vision
Computer experience

Compensation:
This position is a draw against commission compensation program.
Our successful sales associates earn between $60,000 and $100,000 per year!
