The purpose of this position is to support Bimbo Bakeries USA in the execution of brand plans and new product development. The incumbent will support marketing activities within the company and the brand portfolio. This position is responsible, but not limited to the following activities:
•Coordinate the implementation of new products, product improvements, line extensions, packaging, consumer and trade promotion and pricing.
•Conduct ongoing analysis and tracking of category and competitive trends, competitive pricing and promotional programs. Prepare quarterly business reviews. Display accountability and results orientation. Continuously provide the company with market understanding and assist in the development of marketing strategies.
•Provide support of day-to-day logistical business issues.
•Forecast and track new product volume and marketing support.
•Act as a passionate advocate for the Brand in every way possible. Work closely with brand leadership on implementation of line extension and product improvement initiatives, coordination of introductory support programs.
•Strong work ethic, flexibility and ability to multi-task required in fast-paced Direct Store Delivery fresh bakery category.
•Bachelor’s Degree required. 1-2 years prior consumer packaged goods or food industry experience desired.
•Candidate must have strong communication skills, and work well within a team.
