The Psychology Department at Emmanuel College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning in the Fall of 2013. Area of expertise is open, however, applicants with an expertise in Cognition or Learning/Behavior are encouraged to apply. The successful Ccndidate will be asked to teach courses offered by the Psychology Department such as General Psychology, Research Methods and Statistics, Physiological bases of Behavior, and Cognition. Candidates would be expected to teach three courses per semester and participate in an appropriate level of service within the department. Although research productivity is not a requirement, research programs which incorporate undergraduate research assistants are encouraged.
Candidates must have previous teaching experience, as the course instructor, at the undergraduate level and have a Ph.D. at time of appointment.
