This recruitment is for one Truck Driver 2 position within Consolidated Maintenance & Operations (CMO), Operations Support and Services Division (OSSD), at Fircrest, located in Shoreline.

Note: This is a non-permanent, on-call position; hours will vary and will be an as-needed basis.
This position transports clients and staff using a vehicle with the capacity of 25 or more passengers to school, training programs, and acitivities. Operates large trucks, buses, and special vehicles to transport materials, supplies, equipment, or for the recycling program.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Drive a passenger bus to transport school age clients that are ambulatory and in wheelchairs to and from daily activity/recreational programs.
- Assist in loading and unloading passengers using wheelchair lifts and safety straps.
- Drive a garbage truck on campus to empty containers and take to the dump.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSURE SKILLS/ABILITIES:
A valid driver's license and at least one year experience as a Truck Driver 1, or one year experience in operation of a commerical truck of 18,000 GVW or more. AND a Class B CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements.
