Summary: Under the direction of the Sr. Director, Office of Patient Experience, provides direction and management of the department in support of the strategic initiatives of OPE. Responsible for the implementation of short and long-term departmental goals and objectives.
Responsibilities: Functions as a resource to the Sr. Director in overseeing programs and projects across the system. Acts as content expert for their area of responsibility and maintains responsibility for communication of policies and processes which have organizational impact. Analyzes business performance to implement appropriate actions when required. Supports awareness and understanding of the governmental metrics for patient satisfaction and promotes this information across the enterprise. Works collaboratively across the enterprise and creates teams where needed to execute the goals of the department. Oversees daily operations, budgets and project management of major initiatives. Other duties as assigned.
Other Information: EDUCATION: Bachelor s Degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field; Master s Degree preferred.
COMPLEXITY OF WORK:
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years management experience. Experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires extensive sitting and dexterity to perform work on a PC. Requires the ability to walk to attend meetings; must have normal or corrected vision and the ability to verbally communicate to employees and patients
