Research Associate II (CCHE)-130146
Mid-level evaluator for the Center for Community Health and Evaluation (CCHE) . Primary leadership responsibility for smaller evaluation projects or significant parts of larger projects. Manage client relationships and the day-to-day operations of evaluation projects. Coordinate the work of an internal project team to design and implement evaluation projects, which includes: collaborating on the development of logic models, evaluation plans, tools and protocols; participating in data analysis, interpretation and dissemination of findings. Meet quality standards and deliverables during all phases of the evaluation project. Work with overall project leadership to mentor and train staff, build and maintain scientific quality, and implement strategies to continuously improve the evaluation efforts. Write proposals for future funding, develop and maintain relationships with funders, and contribute to the advancement of CCHE strategic objectives.
Minimum Education Requirements
Masters Degree Public health, social/behavioral science
Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements
Strong Interpersonal, and written communication skills, with ability to relate to diverse multidisciplinary teams of evaluators and project staff. Excellent organizational, negotiation, delegation, and project management skills.
Strong abilities in change management, conflict resolution, coaching/mentoring. Effective leadership skills, including perceptiveness, critical thinking, sound judgment, systems thinking, and ability to be (and hold others) accountable. Ability to balance confident decision-making with respectful collaboration and judicious reliance on others’ counsel.
Strong background in evaluation methods, including both qualitative and quantitative skills. Comprehensive knowledge of evaluation design and methodology.
Knowledge of public health field and approaches to evaluating training and technical assistance programs. Ability to manage details, while staying focused on the big picture.
Minimum Experience Requirements
3 years' experience leading the development and implementation of evaluation projects. Experience with developing proposals and relationships with funders
Experience working in a collaborative, consultative relationship with clients/funders; experience working in public health.
