In this position, you will:
Essential Responsibilities Serve as Power Generation Services (PGS) Pricing liaison with commercial leadership, HQ and regional, as well as P&L product line and pole leadership, in driving global pricing strategies, tactics, process improvements and decision support tool priorities to enhance pricing sophistication and commercial capabilities to deliver sustainable improvements in price performance
Drive global and segment level PGS Pricing G&O, project prioritization and resource allocation to build capability and sophistication across each dimension of price management: development, delivery, execution and measurement
Provide strategic direction and tactical guidance to PGS Pricing team while building a talent pipeline and succession plan
Lead team in the collaborative communication of pricing actions (e.g. list prices, pricing guidelines, pricing tools and/or rate sheets)
Leverage analytical insight and trend assessments to provide pricing recommendations to P&L product line management and commercial teams
Guide the development, alignment and generation of segment pricing metrics (OPI / SPI) and key performance indicators, both global and regional, in collaboration with Finance, P&L stakeholders and the ES Commercial Team
Guide PGS Pricing team in the development of recommendations in regard to pricing delegation of authority (DOA), price guideline thresholds
Guide PGS Pricing team in ensuring process integrity and control to support (SOX) compliance
Lead PGS Pricing in the provision of data, insight and presentation slides for strategic and operational business plans (including Growth Playbook, SII, Op Plan, Price Realization and Strategy Reviews)
Support ES Pricing communications efforts such as executive and regional presentations, as well as team and staff updates
Support new product (NPI) pricing, focusing on developing and scaling new, more sophisticated price development capabilities while supporting process enhancements
Manage pricing reporting and analysis in regard to comparisons, tracking & pacing (% to List, CM%) and variance to estimates
Drive communication of segment pricing strategy and actions across PGS Pricing team, respective P&L stakeholders and ES Commercial team contacts
Provide project support and determine PGS Pricing resource allocation to support key initiatives such as Catalog, SFDC and BM
Qualifications/Requirements Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience with working knowledge of T&D product portfolio, channels to market, competitive dynamics and industry drivers
Minimum of 3 years of price management experience working in a matrix environment
Minimum of 3 years of project leadership with a proven track record of planning, organizing and leading cross-functional projects
Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Finance or High School diploma or GED with a minimum 8 years of Pricing or Commercial Finance experience
Green Belt Certified (GE employees only)
