Operates radiological equipment to produce clinical diagnostic x-ray films as prescribed by physicians and perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
Successful completion of an AMA approved radiological training program.
One year working experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Licensed by the State of Michigan.
Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) required.
Frequent or prolonged periods of walking and/or standing, up to 90% of work time. Frequent lifting and pulling of up to 100 pounds and reaching is required to position patients and operate machinery.
Concentration, and attention to detail are necessary in order to prepare quality x-ray films and accurately file reports.
Interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively instruct patients and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers.
