This Engineering II position will report to a Tier 5 engineering manager
Will be responsible for engineering in various areas across Wyoming.
Must understand BM/FW/SAP/OSPFM/RUS Codes or any other engineering systems and be willing to keep learning/training on new systems
Be willing to understand expectations and quality process’s/needs for all work distributed to other teams.
Must understand WYDOT prints and be able to coordinate with WYDOT on roadmoves around Wyoming.
Must be able to mentor/train peers on all aspects of field engineering position. Help support both GC and Engineering contractors with quality and following of prints to build plant that was approved for budget.
Responsible for capital and expense budgets to support area along with meeting and exceeding required build schedules for FCC, FTTT, AQCB And business as usual work including growth, rehab, road moves and preservation work. Support CenturyLink Unifying Principles.
Continue a outstanding working relationship with the RP/GM Operations Team along with leading/support Market Meetings and teams.
Be part of a team to drive towards a local model
This area is a fast pace area with a large build for FCC/FTTT in 2013 and for 2014.
Must be accessible 24 X 7 X 365.
Must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Must have a minimum of 5 years telco engineering experience.
