As a

Customer Campaign Intern

you will develops the knowledge, skills and capabilities needed to support various functions in the marketing and communications organization, such as marketing communications, internal communications, direct marketing, and email marketing. Under close supervision, supports the preparation of marketing & communications materials that support business objectives. Learns to utilize marketing databases to update, extract and analyze data. Supports planning, production and analytics of direct marketing or interactive marketing campaigns.

The Company's internship program is intended to provide students the opportunity to practice business skills learned in school while gaining work experience.

Upon completion of a successful internship, there is opportunity to be considered for a full time position within the company and/or one of Liberty’s development programs.

Responsibilities

:

Assists with the execution of various tasks related to internal and external communications programs that use a variety of media including direct mail, brochures, and email. Communications programs may include advertising, sales support, internal communications, company meetings and events and public relations initiatives.

Assists in the planning and production of direct marketing and email campaigns, including quality assurance

Assists in channel reporting for campaigns

Learns how to collect data across databases to mine targeted customers for select campaigns.

Learns to test and analyze data to ensure accuracy of data internal mining and vendor conversion of

campaign data prior to launch

Learns to collect, analyze and report early campaign engagement data

in support of campaign optimization

Learns about the production of marketing communications materials and internal communications content that support marketing plans and strategies, following guidelines regarding the Liberty Mutual corporate brand image and maintaining consistency with communication standards.

Updates electronic campaign library on monthly basis with update to date creative and campaign results.

Processes Invoices and Manages Customer Mail Box

Qualifications:
Possess strong organization and customer service skills as well as ability to work in a team setting

Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective and existing customers/agents

Effective analytical skills to gather information, analyze facts, and draw conclusions

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required

Detailed oriented, pro-active work style

Undergraduate working towards a Bachelor’s degree

Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Additional requirements might apply.

Internship are full-time – starting May/June 2013 through August/September 2013 based on school schedule
