As a Branch Manager/Assistant Vice President in Gallagher Bassett, you will provide GB clients a broad range of risk management services. In this highly visible role, you will have a significant impact on client relations and extensive interaction at all levels of our client's hierarchy. Internally, you will interface with GB Zone/Area Management and Area Claim Supervisors and Producers. You will plan, organize and direct branch/area branch activity to meet client service needs and Corporate quality and expense goals. In addition, you will:
Maintain positive client, inter-departmental, intra-company and governmental relations
Plan, direct and monitor staff assignments, with responsibility for quantity and quality of product
Develop activity and financial plans
Monitor and control Branch/Field Operations resources
Develop and recommend work and product improvement
Perform staff functions for GB Home Office/AJGCo.
Ensure and maintain appropriate licenses or certifications of claims personnel for all states in which claims are being handled
Make recommendations and document job performance, hiring and merit reviews of branch personnel
Bachelors Degree and/or insurance education program
Seven or more years work experience in insurance
Five or more years management experience
Outstanding human relation skills, including excellent team-building and leadership skills with ability to professionally assist and instruct staff
Initiative and originality required to coordinate company policy, client needs and contract obligations
Sound judgment to manage personnel, planning and budgetary matters

Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. Must be willing to execute Gallagher's Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which require, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure
