We are currently hiring a Continuous Quality Improvement Manager. This position is based in our regional office located in the Morris Community Correctional Center in Dover, DE. This position is full time, Monday-Friday.
Participate in client’s CQI program.
Develop and manage internal multidisciplinary MHM CQI Committee program.
Travel to DE Correctional facilities
Conduct contract-specific performance monitoring as well as performance and monitoring of both process and patient outcome studies that includes on-site facility visits to observe and review treatment processes.
Provide leadership in preparation for NCCHC, ACA, DMH, DOJ and/or client-specific audits.
Train MHM staff in the CQI process and their respective responsibilities in carrying out the quality improvement program to facilitate
Participate in MHM staff development and training including presentation of staff training (HIPAA; PREA; bloodborne pathogens exposure plan; infection control) as required.
Coordinate and oversee peer review processes for MHM staff.
Maintain and document administrative oversight of credentialing information on required MHM staff.
Participate in development and ongoing monitoring of clinical utilization management and utilization review processes as assigned.
Develop strong knowledge of MHM and client’s policies and procedures and requirements of contract.
Participate in MHM activities scheduled for CQI Managers/Directors.
Can have certification as a RHIA or RHIT, licensure as a RN or LPN, or masters degree in a clinical or allied health field.
Minimum of two years experience in health information, quality, utilization or risk management.
Must have transportation to travel
Knowledge of statistics, data collection, analysis, and data presentation.
Excellent problem-solving and writing skills.
Certification as a Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
