Psychology: Two Full-time Psychology Positions Beginning Fall
2011: Human Factors/Industrial Organizational Psychology-The
Psychology program at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, is
seeking a full-time, non-tenure-track lecturer (3-year renewable
position) beginning with fall 2011. Courses will include basic and
advanced human factors, industrial/organizational, workplace
motivation and leadership, as well as courses in the candidate's
area of expertise. Applicants with an interest in human computer
interaction, gaming and educational uses of gaming are encouraged
to apply. While primarily a teaching position, faculty are
encouraged to participate in scholarly activity involving
undergraduate students. Laboratory space is available, and
technology and library resources are excellent. A Master's degree
is required; a Ph.D. is preferred. Psychology Research
Associate-The Psychology program at Penn State Erie, The Behrend
College, is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track lecturer (1-year,
renewable, 48-week position) beginning with fall 2011. The position
will be 50% psychology laboratory coordinator and 50% lecturer.
Courses will include introductory psychology and courses in the
candidate's area of interest. The successful candidate should have
experience in coordinating a research lab, in running a subject
pool, and in working with technology and research equipment. In
addition, the ability to assist in securing outside funding, and
grant management would be highly desirable. Laboratory space is
available, and technology and library resources are excellent. A
Master's degree is required. Please be clear about which position
