Job Description

WDCW is looking for a full time SEM/SEO Strategist. The ideal candidate will use their innovative and analytical mind to develop, manage, and grow our clients paid search and SEO programs. This will entail both strategic, long-term planning, and a seamless management of the tactical, day-to-day elements of multiple client accounts.

The position will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to execute campaigns in line with goals, budgets and needs of our clients. This individual should be proficient in identifying new project opportunities for existing and potential clients, assist in business development needs, and proposal creation. This person will be expected to remain on top of changes in the industry and document best practices to be shared with the broader Channel Planning and Marketing group.

This role is based out of our Seattle office but will cover search functions for clients in both Seattle and LA. Occasional travel required.

In this position you will:
Develop and implement Paid Search and SEO strategies and plans Develop, own, and manage SEO roadmap and collaborate with internal teams to improve client SEO rankings through technical website enhancements, linking strategies, copy/metadata optimization, and internal process improvement Manage paid search goals such as spend, traffic, conversion, and CPA across search engines Develop dashboards for search programs in collaboration with Analytics, drive competitive search analysis, and report on channel performance at the ad group, campaign and keyword level Lead multivariate creative testing and develop new customer experiences for search programs Effectively manage third-party vendors to ensure maximum relationship value Develop reporting and presentations on program plans and performance

Qualifications

3+ years of SEO and paid search marketing experience Strong understanding of key SEM/SEO concepts, interfaces, and tools Experience with third-party bid management and analytics software similar to Acquisio, Kenshoo, Covario or Marin Software. Proficiency in Google AdWords (certification required) Experience in driving competitive site analysis, keyword density analysis, optimization of site content, and ad-copy generation Data-driven mindset; demonstrated prowess in analyzing and interpreting complex data including using advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, macros) Exceptional planning and project management skills Superior attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task and work within tight deadlines Excellent interpersonal skills, including extremely strong written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of HTML and Java Script a plus. Familiarity with website, conversion and retargeting scripts or Google Tag Manager is a plus.
