The 3M Decatur, AL plant produces specialty adhesives, chemicals, and polymers in large batch processes; fluoroelastomers in milling processes; and specialty films on high speed film lines.

This position will require working:

You are applying for a Production Operator position at 3M Decatur. Qualified applications will be considered when Production Operator openings occur at 3M Decatur for up to one year of the posting of this requisition

Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.

To comply with these laws, and in conjunction with the review of candidates for those positions within 3M that may present access to export controlled technical data, 3M must assess employees' U.S. person status, as well as citizenship(s).

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:
Basic computer skills
Experience working in a manufacturing plant environment
Experience using best manufacturing practices (i.e. Six Sigma, SPC, Lean)
Three years of continuous work experience and a verifiable work history
Experience working in a fast paced environment
Experience performing successfully in a team environment
