Performs clerical work in the administrative processing of personnel transactions, record keeping, and inprocessing/outprocessing of employees. Inputs data into an automated personnel database and record keeping system. Provides orientation and explains matters related to employment and employment opportunities and associated benefit programs. Processes required background checks and physicals and follows-up to ensure completion. Maintains official employee personnel records and files.
Progressively responsible clerical experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties described above to include the ability to type and perform office automation functions.
Highly preferred: Possess at least one year experience working in a Human Resources Office.
