Job title: LSCC Treasurer & General Assistant

Required Skills:
  • Experienced within Church organization or non-profit industry
  • Strong computer and Internet skills and proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc)

  • Must be a part of a church community (does not necessarily have to be LSCC)

Specific Job Description/Duties:
A successful candidate will be an integral part of the finance team. The expectation over time and after thorough training is that the GA will handle payroll, payment processing, reimbursements, offering deposits, as well as any tax related issues such as Year-End Donation Statements. The GA will be involved with keeping our financial database intact and updated including all online donations/transactions. The GA will be also take a role in the budgeting process, closing year end books, as well as a bi-annual audit. (10-15 hours per week)
In additional to the above duties, we expect the GA to support the Living Stones Christian Church by being the General Assistant (GA) for the church. This includes duties such as organizing events and supporting meetings, researching and contracting venues, publishing communications, and writing/documenting LSCC process and procedures. Ultimately, the position’s main goal is assisting the Head Pastor and Elder-Deacon Board with any rising needs. These needs can be variable depending on ministry need and workload. Additional duties will include organizing maintaining the LSCC office as well as LSCC assets. (20-25 hours per week)

Work Location: LSCC Office, Crowne Plaza (Sunday Service), & Church Events
Salary Range: Based on Experience, including health benefits & vacation
Req Type: Salary, Full-Time, 40 hours/week (which includes weekend work)
