HW Test & Tools in the Mobile and Communications Group is looking for a Sr. SW QA Engineer and Build Manager to lead our SW QA group in Test and Tools for Intel's Smartphone products.
As a SW QA lead, you will own our test and tool builds, SW tree, QA testing, SW BOM, Issue tracking and our SW release to Intel's internal and external customers.
This position will require software test experience along with QA and detailed knowledge of the SW build and release process.
In this position you will:
Create documented test plans and procedures to qualify release readiness.
Define tools and equipment requirements
Set up E2E software environment.
Perform initial debugging by evaluating code, logs, etc. to identify failure mechanism and method to reproduce and report back to SW engineering.
Qualifications
Must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree with SW experience.
Must have 5+ years of experience in SW QA for phones, tablets or consumer products.
Must have experience working with C/C++, scripting. GNU gcc/g++, Linux, Windows, Visual Studio.
Nice to have; Android, Kernel, Java, Windows.
Must have Build and release experience.
