We currently have an opening for a Clinical Nurse Entry on our Rehab Medicine Unit.
Patients of all ages rely on Rehabilitation Medicine to help them recover from debilitating injuries and illnesses and learn to care for themselves using adaptive techniques and equipment. Our staff cares for patients with cerebral vascular injuries, brain and spinal cord injuries, neurological diseases, knee and hip replacements, arthritis, medically complex burns, organ transplants, cancer or renal failure. The unit features an independent living evaluation apartment, a dining room, a physical therapy gym and rooms for occupational therapy and speech and language treatments. This unit has been certified by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehab Facilities (CARF).
Requirements:
New graduate from an accredited registered nursing program.
Will need to pass NCLEX exam within 60 days from date of hire.
Current Kansas Registered Nurse license or eligible.
Must have an American Heart Association basic life support (BLS) or an American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification.
