Ensures all employees have the education, training, knowledge, and experience to effectively perform their jobs, and supports Perrigo’s compliance efforts through management of compliance training.
Ensures corporate and departmental and contractor training requirements are met and ensure all required training is completed, documented and filed, ensuring cGMP compliance. Coordinates all required training for departmental and contract employees (including permanent, temporary, cross-training employees and new hires). Application of training tools inclusive of needs assessments, instructional design, measuring effectiveness and reporting of metrics. Prepares and manages training materials, OJTs, curriculum, sign off sheets and any other materials required to complete training.
Designs, updates and develops training curricula and items such as OJTs, courses, and department specific training programs.
Partner with external departments to address corrective actions pertaining to procedures and writing/coordinating cross functional controlled documents/planned deviations (as applicable)
Work with subject matter experts when creating a new procedure or revising an existing one.
Manage training reporting and overdue escalation processes.
Corporate/Department orientation support and facilitation/training.
Conducts cGMP training instructional design and classroom training as needed.
Conducts periodic audits of all training curricula in affected departments to ensure continuing compliance to all applicable regulatory requirements.
Interpersonal skills – relationships, influence, clear communication, adaptability and flexibility, sense of urgency to execute to tight timelines, internal customer service mentality
Administrative skills – organizational skills, computer experience (Microsoft office, learning management system administration)
Quality systems understanding, SOP requirements, Gatekeeper /Voice of Quality
High School/GED required; additional consideration given to those candidates with an Associates degree or higher
Project management experience
Adult Learning Theory (Train the Trainer, Mager, ADDIE, Measurement, etc.) experience
Learning Management System (computer-based training) experience strongly preferred
Operations/Manufacturing experience, with a minimum of two (2) years ; must be willing to learn operations equipment and facilitate training on the operations plant floor
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and learning management system administration software)
One plus (1+) years training experience, curriculum design experience/knowledge
