Global Methods Introduction is part of GENBAND’s Services organization and focuses on developing global processes and procedures to facilitate the installation, commissioning and integration of GENBAND’s suite of products & solutions.
•Introduction process for new products, product trials, deployment and support.
•Creation of installation processes and documentation to support new product introduction with focus on Cost Reduction/Avoidance, Outage De-risk, and superior Quality.
•Controlled lab environment verification of procedures and practices.
•Customer demonstration of procedures and practices.
•Integration of new processes into an end-to-end deployment framework.
•Support for special project initiatives that focus on reducing cost and improving quality.
•Excellent Interpersonal and negotiating skills.
•Self-starter that displays initiative and works with little supervision.
•Strong project Management skills - plan, organize and control.
•Strong technical understanding of assigned GENBAND products.
•Excellent written, oral communication skills and presentation skills.
•Very adaptable and able to prioritize in critical and pressure situations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor degree or equivalent in relevant discipline. Experience: 6-8 years of mostly relevant experience.
•Hands on experience with CS2000, C20 and IP networks
•Familiarity with data communications network installation and test techniques
•Working knowledge of Layer2 and Layer3 protocols, TCP/IP, IP addressing and subnetting
•Familiar with telecommunications network installation and test techniques
•Familiar with physical installation, commissioning and testing DMS/VoIP equipment
•Familiar with complex installation upgrades, cutovers, conversions
