Ensure the efficient a nd effective performance of the project(s);
Manage relationships with Project Staff a nd their Managers involved in project(s);
Work closely with the PMO staff, a nd a ttend a ny meetings related to PM functions;
Support the development a nd implementation of innovative methodologies to improve project management on the Texas Project;
Stay a breast of policy, legislative a nd regulatory changes related to the Texas Project;
A dhere to corporate standards for project management;
A dhere to contract requirements a nd comply with a ll corporate policies; a nd
Perform other duties a s a ssigned by management.
Purpose of position is to manage day-to-day a ctivities of a ssigned projects a s well a s monitor project team a ctivities, identify a nd monitor risks a nd issues, a nd maintain open a nd current communication a mong team members a nd with Project Management Office.
The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following A dditional Education a nd Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from a n a ccredited college or university in the field of business.
Masters degree preferred.
Knowledge of project management software such a s MS Project a nd ITG.
Knowledge of the Texas IEES or similar program a plus.
10 years of management experience in government services or a related field a nd experience in building cross-functional teams.
Experience working with a nd leading teams.
Experience in managing projects. Experience identifying a nd implementing sustainable “best practice” solutions a nd procedures.
