Manhard Consulting, a multi-discipline, medium sized engineering firm that provides consulting services to clients in the public, private and industrial sectors seeks a Marketing Proposal Coordinator. This position will be responsible for researching, gathering, and producing business development proposals. Selected individual will work independently and as part of a team throughout the firm's multiple locations. Responsibilities: Research for and review proposal and bid/qualifications request documents to determine client requirements and project feasibility Prepare proposal schedule including document development, internal reviews, meetings, productions and delivery Obtain, edit and update existing material. Research and gather information to include corporate information, past experience examples, team resumes, and other standard material In coordination with the Marketing Director, develop supporting material to effectively communicate the firm's services and core capabilities Comply with corporate standards to present a consistent appearance and style for all external marketing communications, including project descriptions, qualification packages, and presentation graphics Coordinate proposal production Track and report status of proposals Maintain library of proposal material Prepare and/or update Power Point presentations, as needed Regularly update client database Track associate memberships in professional organizations Coordinate special projects as assigned including trade show planning and attendance, etc.
Qualifications: BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field. 2-4 years related experience preferred. Proven ability to meet deadlines. Excellent organization/time management and oral/written communication skills (be prepared to show samples of your work). Ability to organize and manage multiple project assignments along with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to meet proposal deadlines. Software skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher) and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
