The Director, Architecture and Engineering will lead the studio in delivering services to theclients. The role has ultimate accountability and responsibility for process compliance, group realization, and workload assignments to teams to meet schedules and hourly budgets. As a Director, Architecture & Engineering you are responsible for developing team members in all disciplines by advancing their technical, functional, leadership and people skills for future roles within the organization, as well as providing feedback about the associates’ performance on your assigned Projects. The Director, Architecture & Engineering plays an integral role in helping the Company find the proper balance to meet the clients’needs and our financial goals. The position is also tasked with responsibilities pertaining to sales and business development objectives.
In this role your key learning opportunities will include: coaching project managers on how to develop their project management skills; gaining exposure to strategic operational planning and forecasting; and managing larger scale projects for various clients’ projects in all industry segments.
4 - years Bachelors degree from an accredited university in Architecture, Engineering (Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical) or equivalent knowledge gained by combination education and/or work experience
15+ years of work experience in architectural services, mechanical and/or electrical engineering , with progressive levels of responsibility
7+ years management/leadership experience, supervising and developing others, staff management and tasking others
10+ years experience working in a cross-functional team environment
7+ years experience in Project management and working with on projects in a variety of client industries
Experience working in retail, restaurant, and/or convenience store/petroleum industry or consulting
PE or RA
PMP Certification is highly desirable
Experience with administering off shore or international corporations and/or divisions
