Are you ready for the next step? Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Personal Computer Support
Technician join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in Lowell, OR
. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's support to the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers
working on the ACE-IT contract.
This position is contingent upon customer approval and selected candidate must possess a minimum of an Interim Secret
before they can start work.
Candidate must possess an A+ Certification to be considered.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Installs, upgrades, supports, and maintains IT equipment and software in support of the Army Corps of Engineers. Sets
up, reconfigures, and relocates equipment. Identifies needed IT supplies for the equipment. Loads software application
images and updates, including Microsoft Office tools. Troubleshoots network issues, email, CAC, and assists users with
access problems. This support can be provided on-site or via remote control. Supports wireless access for ACE-IT users
from remote locations. Enters trouble calls into the Remedy help desk system, tracks, and provides responsive solutions
to those problems. Escalates critical problems. Provides limited training and technical advice on IT applications and
functions. Collaborates with the ACE-IT team consisting of several contractors. Works under the direct local supervision of
the Lockheed Martin managers.
Candidates must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and
abilities listed below:
· High School gradulate or GED equivalent and 2-5 years of
related experience required.
· Active Interim Secret Clearance or Secret Clearance
· A+ Certification required.
· 2 years experience with laptop configuration and
· 2 years experience troubleshooting PC's, laptops,
Blackberry's, Printers, and some copiers.
· Experience supporting Windows 7 and Vista operating
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential
· Familiar with Remote Control/Access Systems and have the
ability to provide remote support services over the phone.
· Familiar trouble ticketing systems.
· Microsoft certification such as MCP or MCSE.
