Maintains an environment of safety for patients, self and others.

Performs routine cleaning, inspection and testing of pumps according to manufacturer's recommendations and company policy/procedures.

Maintains annual preventative maintenance on all equipment and sends equipment for repair, as needed. Ensures inspection stickers are current.

Works with Customer Service Representative to determine when pumps can be switched out for preventative maintenance. Notifies patient/caregiver of impending exchange of equipment and coordinates exchange with CSR

Assures equipment rental forms are signed and returned.

Accurately documents pump inventory including inspections, repairs and annual maintenance in the software tracking system.

Submits weekly equipment tracking reports to Pharmacy Manager for review of potential pick ups.

Removes capped rental equipment from inventory, documents as patient owned in system and coordinates documentation of ownership transfer with CSR and Finance.

Tracks equipment inventory closely to prevent any losses.

Keeps equipment room organized, neat, clean and inspection ready.

Assists with deliveries of equipment and supplies to patients.

Performs various warehouse duties, such as receiving, picking, shipping and general warehouse cleaning.

Maintains biohazard waste disposal area and documentation of biohazard waste pickup according to procedure.

Maintains biohazard waste disposal area and documentation of bohazardous waste pickup according to procedure.

Maintains waste management records accurately for outside agency review.

1.16

Monitors and adjusts inventory of equipment related products to ensure adequate levels.

Submits purchase orders to assigned vendors and ensures shipments correspond to PO's.

Notifies management of unanticipated changes in pricing, supply availability or back orders.

Job Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Technical school or Associate's degree preferred. One year of experience in equipment maintenance preferred. Current valid driver's license with good driving record, free of restrictions.
