Spherion Staffing is currently accepting resumes for Warehouse Associates.
Position is a possible temp to hire position. If hired on position will transition from a warehouse associate to a driver or driver helper. This will require travel OTR in the state of Florida for 5 weeks. Monday through Friday will be on the road and will be home Friday night for the weekend.
Warehouse associates will be loading trucks, picking orders and other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required while working as a temp.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for at least 8 hours.
Previous experience in a warehouse is preferred.
Due to insurance purposes applicants must be able to meet the following driver's license requirements.
1. No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents in the most recent 3 years
2. No more than 2 moving violations and/or accidents in the most recent year.
3. Can not have any of the following major convictions within the last 5 years.
Driving while intoxicated or "under the influence"
Leaving the scene of an accident
Reckless driving
Homicide or assault through use of a motor vehicle
Currently suspended or revoked driver's license or 3 or more license suspensions in the past as a result of a moving violation(driving) activity (not parking violations etc.)
Eluding a police officer
Driver's license records will be checked to verify eligibility.
