Clinical Quality Analyst Sr, Project Management - Central Region

In addition to supporting UnitedHealthcare as a whole, this position focuses on clinical quality improvement for our members.

In addition to working with the Quality Management & Performance HEDIS staff, this position will collaborate and work closely with other key areas of quality including National and Regional Accreditation teams, CAHPS teams, CMS/SNP teams and others.

This position reports to the Regional HEDIS Manager.

***This position can be located at any Central Region UnitedHealthcare location in the US***

Responsibilities:
  • Handling project management duties for HEDIS projects
  • Identifying correct membership in the markets to be included in data collection
  • Collaborating with Regional Performance Management Teams to map out data collection strategies
  • Identifying alternative sources for administrative data
  • Developing and implementing timely data feeds
  • Working with other HEDIS staff to develop HEDIS Planning Guides/Job Aides
  • Preparing vendor training materials and participating in vendor training activities
  • Collaborate with Data and Analytics Team
  • Individual reporting needs for Performance Management Teams
  • Identify and implement opportunities for rate improvement.
•Health care/Health Plan experience
•HEDIS experience and/or knowledge
•Strong data management and/or project management skills
•Solid knowledge of managed care requirements related to clinical quality
•Demonstrated ability to assist with focusing activities toward a strategic direction and achieve targets
•Excellent team development skills
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Excellent time management and prioritization skills
