Payroll Processor & Office Assistant – The position works under the direction of the Plant Controller, Corporate Payroll Team Leader, and works with other managers to provide standardized clerical/administrative support to one or more functional areas of the Plant, under direct or indirect supervision.

  • Plant Payroll
    • Data entry
    • Submitting garnishments,
    • Verifying/Auditing incoming time information
    • Maintain payroll files
    • Research payroll discrepancies
    • Process manual checks, voids, stop payments
    • Verify each payroll run to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Perform Plant admin duties, as needed (may include but not limited too; verifying labor hours worked, managing employee attendance, sorting/distribution of mail, filing, etc.)

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in set up and troubleshooting
  • Computer oriented/ Knowledge of SAP and PeopleSoft a plus
  • Excellent personal computer skills in a network environment; Microsoft products experience preferred - Outlook-Word-Excel
  • Experience in working in a team environment
  • Strong planning/Organization & Time Management skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
