PTC is looking for a talented programmer to contribute to our growing portfolio of enterprise eLearning and training applications. As a core member of the PTC University software development team you will work with cutting edge technologies and talented colleagues from across the globe as we help our customers get the most out of PTC software.
You will be required to show leadership, teamwork, and creativity to help us deliver both new releases of our existing software as well as entirely new products every year. We are always trying out new ideas, but some of the core products you will contribute to are:
Precision LMS, our learning management system, a modern J2EE web application that hosts tens of thousands of users every month.
The Precision LMS course editor, a lightweight content editor built with jQuery, underscore, and other cutting edge JavaScript libraries
The LearningConnector, a GWT-based application that integrates eLearning into other PTC software products such as Creo and Windchill
Expert Model Analysis (or XMA), a desktop application built on the Eclipse RCP platform that uses a customer’s own CAD models to provide guidance on how to improve their practices and processes.
LearningExchange, a PHP-based application that provides customers with access to free tutorials on PTC software products
Candidates must have:
Strong Java and JavaScript skills
A passion for developing applications with a great user experience
Comfort with agile software development methodologies
A commitment to testing and quality
We also value experience in the following technologies:
Wicket, GWT, jQuery, Spring, Hibernate, PHP, SQL
Unix and shell scripting
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
