We are seeking a Database Administrator to join our team.
The DBA will maintain the integrity, security and availability of multiple database(s). Duties include disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data. Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database. Evaluates and recommends available database management system (DBMS) products. Performs database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements. Performs Oracle, SQL Server and SYBASE Database and Application server administration. Organizes and formats data for efficient query and storage processes.
Bachelor's of Science in a technical degree field from an accredited college or university is required.
Five or more years of database administration experience.
Three or more years of specialized experience in the areas of Information Technology and experience with at least one of the following: ORACE, SYBASE, FOXPRO, ACCESS, MYSQL, INFORMIX, PHP.
Five or more years of experience in federal government programs. Four years of additional database administration experience will be required if the Selectee does not meet the Level of Education requirement.
An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
