Job Summary :
Implements environmental remediation construction activities at multiple sites along with directing the activities of the site foreman, equipment operators, laborers and subcontractors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
§ Manages and oversees maintenance, repair, construction and design-build service projects at multiple locations environmental remediation projects primarily in the Pacific North West.

§ Responsible for completing environmental remediation projects within the scope, schedule and budgets established.

§ Identify any work that is outside of the contract and assist Project Manager to communicate details to the client/owner.

§ Manages staff and direct the activities of foreman, equipment operators, craft laborers and subcontractors.

§ Review specifications to plan procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.

§ Assembles project team resources to execute various environmental remediation projects.

§ Orders procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.

§ Communicates with and directs personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.

§ Complies with all company health & safety and quality control policies and procedures.

§ Complies with prime contract terms and conditions.

§ Communicates with supervisory and engineering personnel and inspectors and suppliers of equipment and materials to resolve schedule conflicts and related issues.

§ Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules.

§ Prepares or reviews reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports.

§ Attend site walks, solicit subcontractor quotes, prepare bids and submit proposals.

§ Prepare project cost estimates and schedules.

Job Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 5 to 10 years of environmental remediation industry related experience. 40 hour HAZWOPER training and 8 hour HAZWOPER Refresher required. Position will require travel throughout the Pacific Northwest to complete projects.
