The Santa Fe Animal Shelter seeks a motivated, super-organized, dynamic person to lead the shelter in producing quality events that engage our community, raise funds for our progressive programs and inspire our staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating event budgets and timelines, securing venues, organizing activities, working with Public Information Officer for marketing needs and promotional materials, and being present during the events to ensure their success. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the donor relation office when needed.
This position requires a detail-oriented and organized person with excellent communication skills who is a team player willing to be flexible and multi-task and work effectively under pressure. It is important that the candidate be very motivated and have the ability to work independently. Graphic design skills are also required as well as the ability to create professional event promotion material. Four years of experience in a leadership role in event planning and execution required; experience in Raiser's Edge software a plus. Salary based upon experience.
