The Department of Alcoholic and Beverage Control's Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) is growing and is seeking highly motivated experienced professionals.

Define project scope, goals & deliverables that support business goals in collaboration w/senior management & stakeholders.

Develop full-scale project plans & associated communications documents.

Set & continually manage project expectations with team members & other stakeholders.

Participate in the strategic planning process advising leadership on best practices for technology options. Identify opportunities to streamline processes through software development initiatives in accordance with the IT CMM process.

Draft & submit budget proposals.

Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members & contractors, & influence them to take positive action & accountability for their assigned work.

Develop best practices and tools for project execution & management.

Minimum Qualifications

University degree or college diploma in Computer Science preferred with intermediate IT project management experience.

Technical competence should include application development, current internet technologies, java, XML, WebLogic, MS project. Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating with a positive attitude Experience with Agile an asset.

Must have Project Management experience with the full SDLC.

Agile experience, MBA and PMP certification preferred.
