Overview:
The Business Analyst works with stakeholders from all business units and related third parties to define and document business processes and solution requirements (software, services, etc.) for identified projects in an effort to drive significant changes to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.

This position may be based out of the following location(s) and surrounding area:

Greenville, SC

Responsibilities:
As a Business Analyst in a Services organization, this role will primarily focus on defining new or enhancement of existing operational processes, service offerings, tools, solutions, etc. from Sales through Implementation Delivery into Warranty (routine services provided over the operational life of a system installed at an Agfa customer.) To accomplish this, the following activities will be required:

Analyze and model the business domain to create a complete picture of work-flows and technical requirements fulfilled by existing and proposed services/solutions Works collaboratively with project teams and the business to Evaluate potential software solutions, including off-the-shelf and open source components, and the system architecture to ensure that they meet business requirements to solve current gaps or introduce new sellable services Review and/or write use cases, requirements, functional specification, and process models. Once complete, coordinate sign-offs verifying with cross functional stakeholders that these outputs accurately portray desired and specific business/operational improvements Meet directly with customers, sales prospects and the user community to actively gather, interpret and document requirements Actively participate in sales cycles relating to the products in a subject matter expert capacity Analyze existing and propose new business processes to address gaps in current system functionality Utilize requirements and system analysis techniques to evaluate business problems (i.e. interviews, workshops, site visits, shadowing, requirements elicitation sessions, etc.)

Qualifications:
Education

Bachelor degree required in Business Management, Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related field Experience 5+ years of experience in Healthcare Imaging (i.e. Radiology, Cardiology, etc.) IT industry in a technical capacity (such as, field service engineer, software developer, consultant, or implementation/delivery engineer) 3+ years experience leading complex IT implementation projects utilizing a cross functional team 2+ years of experience in developing use cases, requirements, and system specifications 2+ years experience with systems development lifecycle methodologies and requirements engineering methodologies Generally characterized and demonstrated tendency to lead in any given situation Demonstrates a wide degree of creativity in solving problems

Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office tools – Word, Excel, Power Point, and Visio Strong technical writing capabilities Able to create Component and Sequence Diagrams using basic UML principles Basic understanding of software development processes and development tools (SQL, XML, .Net, Java, C++, C#) and knowledge of wide array of technologies (Solaris, Windows, Oracle, Storage Arrays, and Networking) Able to conceptually understand holistic deployment and routine service methodologies
