The Operations Analyst will report to the Revenue Cycle Manager and be responsible for payor relations, review and analysis of reimbursement for dental groups with 3 rd party payors and negotiate new agreements on an annual basis. You will also work to enhance relationships between payors and dental groups by creating win-win partnerships and work with our dental groups to optimize plan management to increase the bottom line.
The Operations Analyst will:
Analyze data identifying opportunities to improve and maximize reimbursement from 3 rd party payors for all affiliated dental groups.
Review specialty reimbursement plans to maximize reimbursement and gain leverage in existing markets.
Develop models and other financial analysis tools to analyze, measure and monitor performance.
Develop win-win partnerships with payors to improve overall relationship between insurance companies and dental groups.
Develop and optimize Payor Growth Plan with affiliated dental groups.
Research insurance and market information to gain leverage in negotiations and discover new plans to join.
Develop strategies and analysis around patient financing program to increase visibility and opportunity for our affiliated dental groups.
Negotiate fee agreements with payors in finite timeline.
Manage special projects and complete quarterly and annual reports requiring financial analysis and operations knowledge.
Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, 2-5 years analyst experience with familiarity in accounting and project management desired. Experience establishing cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business partners and internal department personnel required. Analytical candidates from the dental or insurance industry who are organized and detail oriented with strong communication and presentation skills and have advanced computer skills in Excel and Access, should consider this opportunity. 15-25% travel required.
