Job Summary:

Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy in a warehouse distribution environment utilizing system generated reports, data, cycle counts and problem solving skills. Communicate regularly with Management, Finance and Auditors to provide understanding of inventory accuracy and issues that may arise.

Job Duties:

• Assist with promoting and maintaining a safe work environment
• Responsible for inventory management as well as clerical needs
• Report inventory issues to management in a timely manner
• Reconcile inventory (including performing counts)
• Prepare and distribute all required reports, i.e., Production reporting: Quality Pareto Charts, Daily and Weekly Metrics
• Assist with accounting requests & needs
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements & Skills:
• 2 + years related experience
• High school degree or GED required
• Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English
• Knowledge of plant operations and processes
• Basic process management/production management skills—understands how individual role fits into the larger manufacturing process
• Committed to delivering quality product—monitors process to ensure quality
• Ability to utilize powered industrial equipment and work at elevated levels up to 30’ as needed.
• Works well in cross-functional team situations
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5-S principles; understands how to incorporate those in daily work
• Ability to work in a distribution warehouse environment in both hot and cold conditions

Work Requirements and Conditions:
• This position is located in a Distribution Warehouse environment
• Equipment used: Standard Office Equipment, Scissor Lift, material handling equipment.
• Lifting requirements: Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and up to 35 lbs occasionally
• Safety Equipment used (PPE): As defined for this job may include safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, safety harness and other personal safety equipment per your specific assignments and locations
